Memories

So, I've been going thru video tapes and cd's looking for clips and pictures from the past 5 or 6 years. As you know, this Sunday is our last weekend service at the Warehouse. I decided to do something a little different this weekend. We will be watching video's & viewing pictures from our time in the warehouse. It's amazing how people change over the course of a few years...especially our children. Looking at some of the clips/pictures has made me want to stop time...if I could. Our kids grow up way too fast. I read thru Ecclesiastes 3 ( A time for everything) and he never says a time to stop time. Oh well, we'd better make the most of each day. Come out this Sunday as we laugh, cry, worship and embrace the next step on this journey.

Moving date

Well, it looks like we'll be moving out of our current facility on the 13th of April. We will have our service that morning, go grab some lunch and encourage as many as possible to come back and help us move everything from the Warehouse to the new facility on Grant St. So, you would think we will have service on Grant St. on the 20th of April. Yeah, that would make sense, but I'm not 100% sure that will happen. Our plan is to meet at the new facility on the 20th, but just in case we aren't ready to go, we will be meeting somewhere else. We have some different options on a filler facility for the 20th, so stay tuned and we'll keep you updated during the weekend service and with this blog. This I know, we will be at our current facility on the 6th & 13th...after that it gets a little dicey. All this reminds me of the Israelites journey in the book of Exodus. They followed the cloud by day and the fire by night. If the clould stayed...they stayed and if it moved...they moved. God is telling us to move to a different facility...one more effective for reaching our community. This journey is about to get more exciting!

Marriage

I came across this verse today and for some reason it just stuck out. The Lord said to me, "Go, show your love to your wife again..." Hosea 3:1. Now, if you've ever read Hosea you know that his wife was not the most faithful person in the world. However, God tells Hosea to go home and show love to his wife. Let that verse sink in just a second. And women, reverse that verse so it says, women go home and show love to your husband. How many times do we intentionally try and show love to our spouse? Usually, when we want something. The strength of marriages in our world today is about as strong as a cheap deodorant...it just won't last very long. What would your marriage look like if you actively pursued your spouse with love every single day? Try it!

It's Go Time!!!

The permit is finally here. Now it's time to go to work so we can get in our new facility as fast as possible. When will we be in? Good question. If you see P. Weese, hug his neck and give him a bottle of Tylenol, since he's been doing all the leg work on this project. Way to go Weeser!!!

District Champs!!!

District Champs...two years in a row. That's not too shabby! Last year they went undefeated and this year they only lost one game. We defeated the Weiner Cardinals last night 24 to 20 to seal the deal. Micah was pumped...and so were her parents!
